Balendu Sharma Dadhich is a nationally awarded senior technology professional, author, and speaker, who is working to leverage digital technologies for social good; enhance the quality of the common man's life, and foster true & hollistic digital transformation. A technologist-marketer at work and a social activist by heart, he leads the localization & accessibility charters for Microsoft India. He is recipient of 'Atmaram Award', given at the hands of the President of India. In all, he has been bestowed upon 20+ awards including those from the central and state governments in India, global organizations, global tech companies and language bodies.
As a Director at Microsoft, he drives the Indic localization
of Microsoft's products and services, and helps organizations and local
language users to leverage Microsoft's work in their own productivity
and development eco-systems. He is making dedicated efforts towards
popularizing indic technologies through training and skilling
activities; conferences and workshops; content development; marketing
campaigns; newspaper articles; and advocacy activities. As a developer,
he has developed many Indian language software and made them available

He has also developed and manged Indian language news portals attracting
almost a million daily views.
As a champion for accessibility, Balendu promotes inclusion across culture, products, and eco-systems in organizations and society. Expectedly, his books focus issues related with Indian language and accessible technologies.
